These are a series of explorations into 3D letter art.

Starting with analog sketches in a sketchbook, I first begin by drawing each letter to determine layout and shape. After scanning or photographing the artwork into digital space, I then use the Pen-Tool in Illustrator to outline each letter and inflate them into 3D.
